• Video URLs: Links to recipe videos you submit for processing from platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Recipe Data: Any notes, modifications, or organizational data you add to your saved recipes.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Information about how you use the Service, including features accessed, time spent, and interaction patterns.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type, and unique device identifiers.
• Log Data: IP address, access times, pages viewed, and referring URLs.

1.3 Video Processing Data

When you submit a video URL for recipe generation, we temporarily process:

• Video content from the URL you provide
• Audio extracted from the video for transcription
• Thumbnail images from the video
• Metadata associated with the video (creator name, platform, etc.)

Important: Video and audio files are processed in memory and deleted immediately after recipe generation completes (typically within 30 seconds). We never store, redistribute, or make available any original video or audio content. Only the AI-generated recipe text is retained in your personal account.

• Process video URLs and extract recipe information
• Store and organize your personal recipe collection

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide and improve Savory:

3.1 OpenAI (Whisper API)

We use OpenAI's Whisper API to transcribe audio from recipe videos. Audio data is sent to OpenAI for processing and is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy. OpenAI does not use API data to train their models.

3.2 OpenAI (GPT-4)

We use OpenAI's GPT-4 to analyze transcriptions and extract structured recipe information (ingredients, instructions, timing, etc.). Transcription text is sent to OpenAI for processing.

3.3 Supabase

We use Supabase for authentication and database services. Your account information and recipe data are stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

3.4 Analytics

We may use analytics services to understand how users interact with the Service. These services collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the user experience.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to:

• Essential Cookies: Required for the Service to function properly, including authentication and session management.
